I just wanted to let you all know that the prices for the Majestic Elegance are all incl. You guys won't have to worry about spending any extra money.
I also talked to our travel agent and she recommended to set up a travel insurance for each guest since it's Hurricane season in August (just in case). There will be an additional amount added to the price, so don't forget that!

The only flight information she was able to get so far was a price of $412 for a group rate out of NYC.

Wow very cool...we were already waiting on those!!!! I think the hotel is a good choice I liked it very much as well. Does this one has all inclusive???
ReplyDeleteAs soon as we are ready to book would we let you guys know what we want and how are we paying etc etc....all those questions....but yeah I think as of right now all I can afford is the 5 days 4 nights which should be still ok...

Hey Jeannette. Yeah, the resort is all inclusive. So all food & drink is included. From what I heard you don't even have to tip your waiters (unless someone's heard something different).

You don't have an exact date so far do you? Just wanted to figure out when an August I start school next year so that I make sure to work around school for the big day! No rush in letting me know whenever you have exact dates just let me know that way I plan accordingly (And don't worry, regardless of school I am not missing the big day!!!) And I am down for the 5 days and 4 nights as well. The Colonial Suite sounds and looks awesome!!!! If you guys need anything else (like a translator- lol) let me know!

Hey Steph. The date of the actual day we're looking at is August 12th. So it would be the weekend before that until the weekend after. We planned it at that time because it's before people would start their school year.

ReplyDeleteOne more thing: I was talking to my family who lives in DR and they were telling me that actual Hurricane season is not till September. August its just really hot. It rains a bit but then the sun comes out, and its not worth getting the insurance. They definitely think its a bit of a scam. Just wanted to let you know and you guys can decide what to do, but if nobody has to pay extra, I didn't want them taking anyone's money unnecessarily.
